I am a French designer, based in Brixton, South London. After graduating with an MA in Art History in France, I was eager to travel. I first ventured to London, then New York and eventually settled in London.
Always fascinated by the wallpaper designs my grand-father had all over his house in Burgundy, I returned to this interest in 2005 and enrolled on the ‘Surface Design’ course at the London College of Communication.
I later started to work on the same course in the screen printing workshop.
From the first mulberries I foraged in West square , I began to experiment in making natural dyes pastes to print my designs onto fabric and paper.
Exploring the possibilities of colours from plant matters is part of my ongoing research. I want to contribute to a better understanding and respect of our natural resources and engage with more sustainable practices through my design work.
Connecting and sharing with others eco-conscience designers and artists is essential to build relevant knowledge and experiences. Each collaboration, whether workshop or project, inspires and triggers more interesting and exciting prospects.
I am the co-founder of Ceres studio 1 and currently work as a Specialist Print & Dye technician at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London.
Welcome collaborations and commissions.
